Sagami Rubber Industries Co., Ltd. was founded in 1934, the first condom manufacturer in Japan and first condom manufacturer in the world to release colored and dotted condom. In 1998, Sagami has achieved a condom made from special polyurethane, "Sagami Original". In 2004, Sagami has achieved PU condom with just 28-microns – "Sagami Original 0.02" and in 2013 launched an even thinner "Sagami Original 0.01" with merely 18 microns. Instantly it has became a very popular condom in Japan.
